HOW IT ALL STARTED
At age 14 I developed an interest in cutting hair. Shortly after moving to Norfolk,Virginia my father built me a one man barber station inside our garage. With a younger brother and a few new friends from the area I was able to get some good practice in.
At age 16 I was given the opportunity to work in an actual barber shop. There I developed my skill, learned some basic techniques, and fell in love with the industry. As I started to grow my clientele and make a name for myself in the area I always had a dream to be a shop owner.
The first time I saw this little shop on Colley Ave. I instantly saw a vision of what it could be one day. Taking over the existing business was a great learning experience for me, but it was time for me to build my vision. I spent the whole summer of 2021 rebranding and transforming what many see today “Colleywood Cuts”. I am beyond grateful for everything we have established, for all our clients, friends, and family. A special shoutout to my amazing hard working team that I get to work along side everyday.
